We had a fabulous time with fabulous friends, danced the night away to the most amazing music ever but now we are back and looking forward to Christmas in slightly warmer weather than Scotland, or England, supplied (even though, so far, it is almost as wet here as it was in Manchester). We hit the ground running and have already been to the excellent Orphean's Christmas Concert. I am currently deep in the throws of decorating (with an eye to our festive song night on the 23rd) as well as trying to catch up on 6 weeks of organisation, download pictures from last night, sort out the cats who have had to go to the vets and all the other stuff that accumulates - frankly impossible - but at least I've given a little thought to the Ceilidh and I hope I can catch up with as many people as possible on Tuesday, even if I'm unlikely to get all their Christmas Cards written! There will be the usual festive dances to appropriate tunes, lots to eat and drink, the quiz (if I can get the printer to work) and our usual friendly time together. Don't forget a plate of goodies to share and if you feel like dressing in a seasonal manner we can compare antlers!
