All the dances are taught/walked through prior to dancing. If you wish to come a little earlier to go through some of the steps and formations, then you are very welcome to join us from 5.30pm onwards. (Please note - If you come earlier, please make it clear you would like to do a bit of training. We are delighted if someone wants to learn, however we don't pounce on everyone as they come through the door, some people are only here for the beer - though we are pretty ruthless about getting people to help to move the furniture!)
Below find a list of dances. Dependent on the proportion of beginners to experienced dancers  a selection will be made on the night to, hopefully, give the most enjoyment. Video links to the dances are supplied, where available, if the link doesn't work just search for the dance on YouTube - please note that most of the videos are pretty serious for demo purposes but we don't often dance like they do!
The colour code is explained below the programme. Usually we dance 10 dances - 5 from 1st half list, 5 from 2nd half

Guide to Colours -
Green - have a go even if you haven't danced before - minimal or very easy formations or it's a slow one
Darker Green- usually a faster dance or slow with more 'named' formations but okay for most people, especially with a 'good' partner.
Blue - May be unfamiliar to the class, have more complex formations and/or be much faster than some of class normally enjoy.
Red - Challenging - not for the fainthearted !
