No need to bring a partner, unless you've one handy of course ... a great way to enjoy social dancing even if you are a 'single'

Whether you are a complete beginner, novice dancer, want to re-cap the basics or even if you are an experienced dancer who just loves any opportunity to dance you are very welcome to attend.
This class makes no demands beyond interest and a willingness to join in, so it's fun to learn. No chance to dance is ever wasted but the pace is kept at a level everyone is comfortable with.
There is a chance to learn the steps, or how to get through without any steps!
​The program is very varied, from Old Time favourites that have entered the Ceilidh (pronounced 'Kaylee') repertoire to elegant Strathspeys - unknown outside of the Scottish Country Dancing world but lovely and very satisfying to dance - so why not give it a try?
What you need : - Flat shoes that will stay on your feet. Comfortable clothing and a willingness to enjoy yourself. The bar is not open during this class however water and tea/coffee can be purchased.

 What we do in our dance afternoons -
​It's a 2 hour session intended to gradually build up your knowledge and confidence while enjoying dancing at an appropriate level. Steps are taught but not laboured and figures and formations are clearly explained - as often as necessary - these are fun and really happy classes, and very effective, so worth giving a go!

Time - 2 pm until 4 pm
Cost - 4 Euros. (€2 If you are a Phoenix Club member)
