The second class of the season is now under our belts and we are already welcoming people back who have been away for the summer. We are also delighted to welcome a lovely new member of the Society, in fact she is doubly welcome as she is already a very competent dancer. Despite several sidelining injuries and the inevitable need for exchanging news we managed 3 sets up for several dances. We still have to optimise the arrangement of sets but it's now proved that the venue can accommodate 3 fairly easily - and over the last season 3 sets up was usually the maximum we had on the floor at one time, so for me that was the main criteria for the venue after achieving a safe floor to dance on.
We had announcement of our October event, an Edinburgh Tattoo video night at the UKCA on Saturday 28th October as well as a reminder for the Charity Coffee Morning at the Royal Artemis Hospital on Saturday 30th September (not a Society event as such but being organised by our brilliant Social Sec and worthy of support) and of course our signature event of the St Andrew's Ball at the Kamares Club in November. Details as they 'come in ' will always be found on the 'Future Events' page - link at the top of the page. Don't forget you can also look back at our past events too.
