This time last week.....

It is always very strange when a long anticipated event is finally over. The Ball was excellent - fun from the start of putting up our decorations (almost superfluous because the Kamares Club was already beautifully decorated for Christmas) to the last drawing pin and table name being recovered and put back in the box for another year. Thanks, yet again, have to go to Blevins Franks for their incredible generosity; their sponsorship meant we not only had wonderful food and a great night dancing, with the pleasure of live music for a change; but enjoyed chocolates, wine and great raffle prizes as well - the only disappointment was that quite a few of our members couldn't join us due to family commitments, health or other issues. We have already had one dance class since and that was great fun - especially for me since I could finally use some different dances for a change but I did think that once the Ball was over I would be a little less rushed, if anything I feel even busier because all the things I put off to do Ball stuff are now queueing up to be done. But never mind. We've got enough dancers for the Sunday Class yet again and the Monday Classes are gradually building up numbers so it's still all systems go! It's better than being bored!
