The last class of 2015 feels like months ago not just over a week ago – thank-you everyone who turned up for a little bit of final fun, especially Pat, yet again travelling all the way from the ‘Dark Side’ in Kyrenia, and Ann and David making another of their weekly journeys to join us from the far side of Limassol - though I know it was partly to get another bit of that fantastic cake, it’s great that our dance nights are good enough to make their journeys worth while.
I hope that we all had a great Christmas and we are all looking forward to an enjoyable Hogmanay, whatever that may involve. We have less than a week until our first class of 2016 – now that does seem incredible, but I know we will all be more than ready to work off a few calories and get back onto the dance floor. Tickets are now sold out for the Burns Supper at the Elea, which is amazing, and the committee is well into the organization for the AGM – yet again to be held at the UKCA to take advantage of Debbie’s marvellous cooking! Nomination sheets etc are soon to be sent out by the society secretary (nominations have to be back in by Feb 6th), it’s always a great afternoon so why not come along to support the society.
