It is finally, definitely Spring... in fact it looks like it could actually be Summer; temperatures have gone from distinctly chilly to uncomfortably sticky in just 2 weeks, not a very healthy situation which is probably why my cold is still lingering and I struggled slightly to run the class last night. We are gradually losing our winter flock but gladly hosting the occasional summer visitor so still managed 2 sets for a lot of the dances despite having 2 injured bodies suffering on the sidelines. Unfortunately the LPH is again having electricity supply problems; however we managed quite a good class because our music is powered by battery and with fewer people in the class I didn’t have to shout too much. Luckily as the sun went down our electrical genius appeared and pulled the right switch to put the lights back on – which, although they did eventually trip again, lasted long enough to finish the class and get most people out safely. Another good aspect was that the LPH floor wasn’t quite as treacherous as last week and people also brought shoes with better grip so disaster was averted and a good time was had by all ... yet again, good aint it!
