The Monday class I hold at the UKCA just doesn't want to stop, the Tuesday class continues to attract close to 30 dancers a week, this week the Sunday class is meeting with a good number attending and it's unbelievable that the June Jamboree in a week's time signifies it's almost the end of the season ( we will hold just one more Tuesday class after that); recently we've been asked to provide a couple of demonstrations - I am not really 'demo orientated' but both events raised quite a lot of interest with several people considering joining us next season. The event at the UKCA followed on from the Morris Dancing and sparked some of the Morris Dancers with an interest in restarting a Scottish Dance group in Limassol where most of them are based, one of their members had taught in Saudi... lets hope they get it going, it would be great to have a fellow group on this side of the island. So the vibes are good at the moment! The committee meeting this week produced several great ideas for the Autumn season - social events to compliment our dancing programme - check out the Future Events page for preliminary details and dates. In the meantime I'm really looking forward to the June Jamboree next week, it's going to be an amazing night, I just wish our missing members could be here to enjoy it too. Finally some pictures of the 'Demo Team' at the mall prior to our first set - thanks to Billy for the pictures.
