Well for me anyway :-) I'm off to Scotland next week - I'm going to the RSCDS Winter School to see if I can dance. My friend (at least I think she's a friend) goes every year and talked me into joining her in the 'Very Advanced' Class "you'll be fine" she says.... we shall see - I will enjoy it I know, whether the rest of the class will enjoy me being with them is another thing. Last week's class was amazing - not for numbers - we were seriously down on previous weeks, but for the fact that so many turned out on a truly horrendous night. We had to collect my mother and so were a little later than usual but didn't worry too much because the weather was so appalling we didn't expect anyone to be there - no, we had people waiting on the doorstep and 24 eventually staggered in so we had 2 sets up at least for every dance and that nice cosy feeling you get from hearing the rain and wind (not to mention lightening) outside while we danced ourselves warm. This week I hope we don't have quite so bad a night weather wise, but just as good a night dance wise because it is my last for a couple of weeks. Maxine has kindly offered to lead the class on the 24th and on the 3rd March it will be a DIY night so we will be asking for volunteers - have a chance to dance your favourite dance.
