It's been several extremely busy weeks, (gardening, church, dancing, computer group, learning to be a bartender!, dancing, attending meetings, designing posters, dancing etc, etc you know, normal life but a lot of it!) since I last posted a blether. As usual time is passing unbelievably quickly and all of a sudden we are nearly at the end of our dance season. Next week is our last Tuesday class, because the Tuesday of the week following it is our brilliant 'June Jamboree' when we celebrate the end of our spring season, dancing under the stars at the Elea Golf Resort (I hope you've got your tickets - contact me, or Pete if you haven't got them yet).
During the last few weeks the numbers at both classes have fluctuated enormously; occasionally unexpectedly busy but generally lower than normal. We've always have enough attending to enjoy some really great dancing, however with fewer numbers (despite welcoming some new faces to the group) and the weather getting hotter it's definitely harder work and I'm quite looking forward to a break. On the other hand, I've finally managed to organise an 'advanced' Sunday class, scheduled for this Sunday - hopefully the first of many - if there's enough people interested - we shall see.
