Upsy Daisy and round we go

Last week we were limiting our programme to mainly 3 couple dances because we had so few attending the session; this week we danced two '5 couple' dances one after the other, with plenty of dancers to spare - welcome back everyone, lovely to see you again, and a very big welcome to the beautiful new dancer joining our ranks who has been hiding in the hills all these years and thankfully has now been enticed to join us. Not much more to say other than the usual 'well done' to those who tackled dances just a little out of their comfort zone, it's amazing what you can do when you try (I remind myself of that all the time). 
Just a few reminders -

• Tickets for the June Jamboree - our end of season dance at the Elea Golf Club are now available - €25 and cheap at twice the price! This is a lovely night, an excellent buffet meal then dancing under the stars. The programme will include dances suitable for 'non-dancers' too, so please bring friends and family - Date - Tuesday June 24th, time 7 pm, dress - cool but smart. Children under 12 1/2 price 
• Sunday 10 am - 12 noon 'Advanced' classes are restarting - (once I've confirmed with the Phoenix Club) I'll be letting people know the exact date by the end of the week- cost will be €5 because I'm saving up for Winter School!
