]]><![CDATA[2017 - Barn Dance on Tuesday 4th April - alternative dancing!]]>Wed, 05 Apr 2017 11:54:28 GMThttps://www.standrewgroup.com/barn-dances/2017-barn-dance-on-tuesday-4th-april-alternative-dancingIt was a really good turn out of nearly 60 guests who enjoyed an excellent buffet, a free prize 'draw' and tried their hands (and feet) at a very varied programme of simple dances - the dance programme opened with the circle dance 'Oh Suzanna' and 'The Charleston Chaser' followed by the 'Eva 3 Step'; the ever popular Borrowdale Exchange had everyone laughing and the 'Packhorse Rant' was also enthusiastically performed. After a break for Birthday cake and some high quality deserts 'St Bernard's Waltz' got a few people back on the dance floor, followed by  'Simon's Dance' and the lively 'Heel Toe Polka' finished everyone off!
